As soon as the phone hangs up, Squidward begins to count out the activity, mentioning that the walls ooze green slime. The phone then rings, but when Squidward answers, the caller hangs up. The lights, however, start to flicker, but they assume it's the faulty wiring in the building. Later that night, Squidward hears SpongeBob cleaning the ceiling and ignores it (until SpongeBob spooks him by shouting in his ear). SpongeBob replies by laughing hysterically. Squidward soon becomes annoyed because of SpongeBob's screaming and tells him to stop screaming, claiming that he made the story up. SpongeBob becomes terrified of the story, and screams repeatedly, while Squidward laughs. When he walks in and ignores it, Squidward tells him about the story of the Hash-Slinging Slasher (the ghost of a former fry cook who died near the restaurant that tries to attack the employees every night, showing he's coming by flickering the lights, ringing the phone, and appearing in the ghost of a bus). Squidward then tells him to take out the trash, and SpongeBob does but becomes terrified (even though he tries to hide it). SpongeBob then appears and gets excited about how great it is to work at the restaurant 24/7 and sings a song about it, doing his "chores" as he sings. Krabs realizes he'll generate more cash if he kept the Krusty Krab open 24/7, he tears apart the closed sign and declares that the restaurant is open 24/7.
Tom, however, appears and attempts to order a Krabby patty and french fries. Then the phone rings, and no one answers.Īnd then the bus arrives, with the Hash Slinging Slasher.It is closing time at the Krusty Krab and Squidward is getting ready to go home. The night grows on and the number of customers die down, leaving just the two boys in the store. But then the lights start to flicker and Spongebob and Squidward are not doing it. Squidward finds it to be hilarious, but it really freaks out Spongebob.
Years ago the Hash Slinging Slasher used to be a fry cook, at the Krusty Krab. He tells him the story of the “Hash Slinging Slasher”. He tries to cover it up, but Squidward knows he is terrified, giving him the idea for a great prank. He has to take the trash out in the dark. Spongebob is excited, but Squidward hates his life.īut as the night grows later, Spongebob starts to get a little spooked. Krabs leaves for the night, while Squidward and Spongebob stay for their first Graveyard Shift. Krabs the idea of making the Krusty Krab open 24/7. Squidward and Spongebob are working like normal, closing the Krusty Krab when someone comes after hours trying to buy food. This is episode 16 from Season 2 of Spongebob Squarepants. For those who have never seen Spongebob Squarepants the show follows the adventures of the kid Spongebob as he works at a fry cook at the Krusty Krab, does Karate with Sandy Cheeks (a squirrel doing research under water), annoying Squidward Tentacles, hanging out with Patrick Star and going on all kinds of undersea adventures.

So instead we will be reviewing TV episodes on Tuesdays, TV Tuesdays. Well this year I decided to do something special for Friday the 13th, which means I can’t put my reviews of TV shows on Friday.
